Tunel na Zakopiance

The official opening of the more than two-kilometre-long tunnel took place in November 2022, and the ZIR Group participated in this project by providing solutions in the field of traffic control systems.

For this project, the ZIR Group provided and installed controllersin the tunnel, which are connected with MODBUS protocol to the supervisory SCADA system.
Furthermore, ZIR supplied four DLP-20 units for classifying vehicles using induction loops. The DLP-20 modules are installed in the two measurement points of the tunnel on the two-lane cross-section, and each lane has a separate module for vehicle classification, measuring speed and direction of traffic.
