System ITS w Opolu

ZIR Group, as a subcontractor, participated in the project implementation of the ITS system in Opolein collaboration with Sprint S.A. Among our responsibilities was the supply of FastPrk Duo and Gateway dual magnetic sensors and Fastprk signal transmitters and providing support for their installation.

As part of the task, over 3,000 sensorswere delivered, which, thanks to the advanced algorithms, determine the number of free parking spaces. The sensors transmit the information to a system of road signs located in the city, which provides information about the availability of parking spaces.

Furthermore, as part of the ITS Opole task, the ZIR Group ensured the delivery of a system for the priority system of emergency vehicles and public transport. We delivered more than 70 sets of devices, which are responsible for detecting the priority requests and giving priority.

The ITS Opole system includes 50 intersections in the city.
