Realizacje zwiększające komfort i bezpieczeństwo pracy PSP

Each task we undertake is equally important to us. However, some are particularly special because they contribute to enhancing the comfort and safety of emergency services, who risk their lives and health daily to protect others. Over the years, we have completed many projects related to the design and construction of traffic signal systems, including for the State Fire Services in the Silesian Voivodeship. These completed projects have ensured the safe departure of fire engines to rescue operations. Below, we present some of our recent projects:

• Bytom – a project related to the construction of a traffic signal system for a newly established fire station. The signal system is controlled from the control panel and by vehicle detectors.

• Chorzów – a project carried out for a fire station whose exit is directly located on a national road at a major intersection. The implemented solution halts traffic at the entire intersection, allowing for the safe departure of fire engines.

• Zabrze – a project for a fire station located in a complex traffic signal system, covering several key intersections. This task required numerous simulations and tests to determine the appropriate traffic parameters, ensuring smooth system operation after the activation of the special phase, which allows for departures in one of three directions.

• Ruda Śląska – to improve State Fire Service safety, as a part of the task, the ZIR Group used state-of-the-art solutions like mounting new radar and ZIRnovo series traffic lights, as well as supplying a touchscreen control panel which allows the dispatcher to control the operation of the traffic lights when exiting and entering the fire station from the desktop.
